This was a fun 2 hours. Wednesday night is race night. There are two Schooner Woodwinds, and for the first part of the trip, they race each other. We had to shift from one side of the boat to the other when the captain indicated to try to increase our speed. It was neat to see how they work together when the captain call out commands to his crew to adjust the sails. It seems a lot goes into to sailing one of these vessels. The captain allowed passengers to help raise the sails and steer the helm. We sailed past the naval academy and under the Bay Bridge. We sailed by beautiful mansions on the Severn River. The captain answered questions from the passengers. We saw the beautiful sunset. They serve free water or soda. You can but alcoholic drinks. I had a great time. At first, I felt a little squished in on the boat, but once we got out of the harbor and were allowed to get up and move around a little, I was fine. I would definitely recommend.
