My husband and I just returned from staying one night at Chez Amis. It was our first time staying at a B&B and we were not disappointed. I chose the B&B due to the reviews on here and unfortunately, we did not get to meet the owners (they were away for their son's college graduation) but they left us in the hands of Claudette, who did a great job. Although the owner, Ellie, I believe, was even nice enough to call my husband a couple days before our stay and apologize for being away and not getting to meet with us!
Anyway, we arrived and were greeted by Claudette and shown around. The B&B is very nice, well kept and spacious for an old home. Claudette stressed that we make ourselves at home; she even had our refreshments and cookies and showed us where some drinks, coffee, etc were in case we wanted any. They also have board games and DVD's to chose from as well as maps and even an Ipad and such as a resource to look things up. We booked the Annapolis room, which has a private bath but its located down the hall. No biggie, they provided robes to go back & forth. We didn't meet any of the other guests until the next morning at the 9:00am breakfast. It was a wonderful meal - fruit, banana bread, wonderful frittata, etc. We had a nice time eating and talking with the other guests. Overall - great stay and I would definitely recommend this B&B. The only drawback, which seems to be all of Annapolis and nothing to do with the B&B is parking is VERY limited. Turn your flashers on, unload the car and then they'll advise you where to park.
