“An unassuming Treasure tucked in the shadows of the”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

Sat April 20th, from the moment we set eyes on the structure we were in awe, it was a handsome building tucked in the shadows of the Severn River Bridge. The restaurant sits on the shores of the Severn River's yet seems close enough to peer into those hallowed halls of our great nations Naval Academy. A beautiful view indeed, once inside we were met with friendly and professional service. Due to traffic we were almost forty five minutes late but the staff had no problem honoring our reservation. The staff seated us at a quiet table near the rear deck with an amazing vie over looking the river and academy. The wine selection was great, we chose a bottle of the Secco Mascato a fruity clean crisp tasting white, just right for sea food. My wife ordered the Claims Casino and (HUGE)Day Scallops with Chicken Ravioli. She rarely eats clams and oysters but she loved them and the scallops were huge melt in your mouth and just perfectly seasoned. I ordered the Battle Creek on the half shell. They were prepared and served perfectly. For my main I ordered the Seafood Stew; OMG it was incredible and the portions were generous. Normally I eat fast but my meal was so amazing that I really paced myself to enjoy it and make it last. This was some of the best seafood we have had this side of the eastern shore. Location, setting, service, food; everything came together just right to make our first dinner there an AMAZING dining experience. This is our new seafood spot. P.S Thanks Linda great recommendations...

“Great view. Good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

We went for lunch, and sat on the patio. It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for outdoor dining.
The service and the food was very good. We had to wait a long time for the bread to arrive, as they were baking it. It was well worth the wait. It was nice, warm and crunchy.
We did find it quite expensive though, the dinner menu especially so.

“Could be great with a little attention to detail!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Family lunch across the river from the Naval Academy. Great view of that great institution. This is a large restaurant with some noise issues. The dining room is attractive but half the tables had tablecloths and the other half did not. Strange!
Uninspired menu with the Asian Tapas an unusual and very good appetizer. Would highly recommend. Beyond that appetizer, menu is not very imaginative. Sandwiches and salads were good but the service was middling as our server missed fries on an order. Iced tea was weak and tasteless. Service was average as our server seemed to be pre-occupied and had no personality.
This place is slightly above average but the view is enough to put up with its shortcomings.

“Great view. Great food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Wonderful place year round, but especially in the warmer months when you can sit outside,
Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Terrific service and warm friendly atmosphere.
Great view of the Naval Academy.

“Nice Sunday Brunch Buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Not only did this restaurant have good quality food but the ambience of being on the water (opposite the Naval Academy) as well as having all you can drink Bloody Marys and Mimosas, was a very good value at $30 per person. The buffet had oysters on the half shell, peel and eat shrimp, a pasta bar (made to order), waffle station, carving station with leg of lamb and prime rib, and the typical breakfast items. Though not on the buffet line, you can order eggs benedict (just ok), omelets, and any other egg preperation of your liking.
