We ate tonight at Manolos. The service is quite good. While Manolo himself was not around, we were warmly greeted by Danny, a co-owner and the service was good. However, the food was disappointing. Of the 9 courses, I found that most of the food was bland and uninspired. The exceptions were the pumpkin soup and the basil cream that came with dessert, accompanied by a doughy crepe and a fruit that was called a "wild tomato" by the waitress. The lamb kebab with garlicky tahini was good. Overall, the trip to Manolo was an experience but I might try something else if I was looking for the true Panamanian experience.

A must visit! In a very safe place of Casco Viejo. If you insist on ordering off a menu, this is not the place for you. Love it!

We had dinner yesterday with my husband, food was delicious, service was excellent. So far is the best restaurant we have been in Panama City. We order a very gool sparking wine. For sure we are going go back in our next visit.

You will have to be very patient for quick service although most of the food was good, they did not have a large selection to choose from.
