I had never been to Panama before and I think staying at Patty and Rudy's was the best decision I could have made.
The accommodations are extremely clean and tasteful. The included breakfasts are very well done.
The the location is a convenient walking distance to many great restaurants as well as interesting sights in the city.
I especially enjoyed the private patio .
It can rain for a brief periods in the afternoons and the hammock is perfect for reading or napping as the sound of the warm rain puts you to sleep.

Beware .......... The Kitten thinks it's a dog and will want to play fetch.
You could be viciously attacked during your siesta if you don't pay attention to her :) :)

They also own a condo that they rent out on the Amador Causeway that I saw from the outside when I visited there and I'm sure it is also nice.
Rudy also has a guide service. As he is a native Panamanian and he is very knowledgeable about the history of the country and the city . I recommend his "Other Panama" tour. A great way to see Panama from another perspective.
