“Great business hotel with personal flavour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

Being on a business trip this hotel differs from others through its personal flavour and nice art work. The service is friendly and warm, the food is very good and the staff always tries to help in the most friendly manner.
The pool and pool bar are nice amenities, especially when you accompany your partner who is on business trips.
A real special and unexpected surprise for me was the integrated AGUA SPA. I booked a deep tissue massage and as an add on you could spend all the day in the SPY which is opposite to the pool. So, if you have enough time, you can arrange a great wellness day, first the gym, then the pool and the massage, but also using the sauna or steam sauna or just relaxing in a beautiful, well smelling Spa environment with a friendly and nice service of the staff.
A real contra point to the noisy and bad smelling city, more you would expect.

Room Tip: We stayed at the floor 25, room 8, far away from the elevator (night talks) and had a nice view on...

stayed five days recently at the radisson decapolis. i joined the carlton points club and was upgraded to a fantastic suite that had everything one would need for a stay in the city. the rooms were clean, modern, with two bathrooms, a living room with tv and bedroom with tc. the view of the skyline and bay was worth sitting in a chair and just watching the city go by. the mini bar was stocked with everything from high quality chocolate to a variety of beverages and snacks. the master bath had plenty of personal items and big soft towels. the pool, hotub, and bar on the fourth floor were fine but the staff insisted on playing loud music best suited to teenagers.
the breakfast included in the room price was fresh and well laid out , no bacon and eggs but everything else you can imagine. the sushi bar had fantastic offerings and we had pizza one night in their adjoining pizzaria. the enclosed walkway over to the multiplaza made shopping or just plain mall walking accessible. the staff was well trained and personable.
WARNING- i think the transportation services out front are contracted by the hotel, thier prices were 3-5 times higher than the yellow taxis, DO NOT let the people in the blue and white shirts get you a taxi.

Room Tip: the higher up the better the view and less traffic noise as the hotel is situated right on a major c...

Got a really nice room on the 19th floor, with a living room and a bedroom. Everything worked very well, staff was helpful, breakfast really nice, the restaurant/bar serves excellent sushi!
Only bad thing about this hotel is the gym, it is simply horrible! But for those of you who are runners, dont worry! There is a fantastic running track along the pacific, where you can run also very early in the morning safely. There are plenty people there and also police officers, so no great opportunity to get out.

This is my second stay at this property and it remains consistently good. Not wanting the hustle and bustle of the adjoining Hard Rock Hotel, I choose the Radisson which is quiter and more suited for the business traveller. Rooms and amenities are of a high standard and air conditioning works perfectly - which is needed in Panama!

A bonus is the $20 drinks credit and the free buffet breakfast for corporate travellers. The bar drinks are very reasonably priced and a very ggod sushi nar is located adjacent to the lobby. The hotel restaurant breakfast buffet has all the usual cold items, and also serves to-order eggs and meats of choice as well as toast. You would pay $20 for this elsewhere.

The neighbourng mall with casino is worth a visit. A Hard Rock Cafe restaurant is located in the mall (not in the Hard Rock Hotel) and a food court with the usual suspects - Mickey D, etc. I enjoyed a nice coffee and empanadas for less than $5 on the lower floor cafe.

Staff are friendly and attentive. I will be back.

Room Tip: Away from the elevator banks if you are a light sleeper

I secured great rates which included breakfast (pretty good) and Wi-Fi, and some drinks -- I had a business meeting on the evening and paid $0. The room were pretty good, well kept, service was great. They took care of my transfer from the airport, and my taxi next day to my office and charged it to my credit card. Checkin and checkout process was fast. Connection to Multicentro was very convenient for shopping although they closed early on sunday. Everyone was helpful and smiling!

Recently eclipsed by a brand-new Hard Rock hotel right next door, this place faces a ferocious competition to which it needs to respond. This said, the rooms are nice, albeit some are with a peculiar decoration; the covered walkway to she shopping mall is more than welcome in case of rain and there is an array of eating options in the vicinity. The value is not too high though, as the place is rather pricey and a few caveats await the guests inside (i.e. cooked options at breakfast - incl.eggs - come at an extra charge). Keep in mind also the dress code, as the place is still rather stingy about it.

Room Tip: Odd-numbered rooms face the ocean, even-numbered ones face the city.

A modern hotel with beautiful furnished and decorated rooms. The corporate rate include a well served breakfast and a $20 value in drinks every night, which came handy for your afterwork meetings or encounters. If you are afraid of going out to the streets, the hotel is connected to the Multicentro shopping mall, which besides the stores has cinemas, a casino and the Hard Rock Cafe. The personal was very attentive and the hotel taxi service were always ready and reliable, which in the chaotic traffic of Panama is a necessity.
