As foodies in Panama, we were happy to have another higher end offering in Panama City. Finally a restaurant where the staff seems to have had some training!
Mother's Day Brunch:
Typically I'm not a fan of buffet brunches, but I have to say that this was one of best buffet brunches I've been to in years. Everything was fresh and delicious and there was a huge selection. It wasn't cheap ($42.00 per person), but it did include an unlimited mimosa, bellini and caesar bar. There were eggs, sushi, sucking pig, roast beef, salad bars, dessert bars, juice bars, fruit, hot selections, deli selections and more. It was very extensive, so I would recommend going when you have time to linger and enjoy the cocktails over 3 hours or so. Everything was very tasty and they were replenishing regularly. Our server was very attentive and all of the staff were very sweet with our 22 month old.
Dinner (we've gone 3 times):
Dinner has been consistently decent. The first time was the best, but overall everything was mostly yummy and again, the service has been very attentive (which can be hard to find in Panama). There aren't a ton of options on the dinner menu, but the appetizer tacos were yummy. I also tried the turkey sandwich (which was OK, not great) and one of the salad entrées (which had quite a few ingredients and was very yummy) - sorry, I don't remember the name. The desserts were OK, not great, but overall a really solid choice in Panama City.
The decor of the hotel and specifically the dining room is very nice, modern and classy. It's a great place for a date, business meeting, celebration or just a nice night or brunch out. It conveniently located near Calle Uruguay, which is a hopping area to walk around (for bars and clubs) on a weekend night.
