“You Have to Come to Jola's!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We had an amazing time at Jola's. The cabanas garden in the back had a laid back vibe that was just perfect. Food was absolutely delicious, I had the fish covered with a dense, piquant sauce of lemon and capers with mashed potatoes, my friend had the pulled pork with caramelized onions. We went to their wine cellar to choose a nice bordeaux for our dinner, and that's when the waiter showed us their cigar bar - how cool!?!! After dinner, we enjoyed the rest of the night with fresh mojitos and smoking cigars. The aroma, the ambiance, the falling ashes, it was definitely an experience. and the service was awesome. I will definitely revisit Jola's my next visit to Panama.

“A surprising find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Jola's. The food is basic but very good. They also have a good selection of wines.

I think the name scares a few people off. I was a bit surprised to see how empty there outdoor cafe was. A lot might have to do with the name. I guess if you don't want coffee or a cigar, you might pass it by, but it's much more than a coffee or cigar bar.

The service was outstanding and the ambiance was perfect. I'll stop back here on my next trip.

“Love it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

so excited to find this place! full of cabanas in the garden in the back, with a chill relaxing vibe. Perfect for lounging, while sipping cocktails made with fresh passion fruit with taste of light tapas. They have a cigar bar, and it was my first time trying a Cuban cigar, hehe,, a true gem in Panama City

“A Tranquil Treasure in the Heart of the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Unassuming from the front, Jola's House looks like a inviting porch with big glass tables and sheltering umbrellas over each. The constant breeze makes the leisurely meals a lovely delight. The food is excellent. In addition, Coffees from all over the world are served. Jola's House has rooms inside for luxury dining with a full cellar of fine and reasonably priced wines to choose from. A full size humidor for cigar afficianados invites. The back patio is a spectacular lounge area under the stars & surrounded by the city highrises. A haven away from the world with softly piped in music the era of Nat King Cole and Louie Armstrong. Staff is very professional and eager to assist.
