“one of our best holidays ever.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

We were on a 14 day cruise, which took us through the canal,It was the experience of a lifetime, We sat for 11 hours at the front of the ship as we did not want to miss any of the transit and we were not disappointed, We were lucky the weather was not to hot, just nice to sit for the whole day. There is an narrator on board and he tells you all the history of the canal and the scenery is stunning,We were on the Vision of the seas, Great ship.Good food, and we made lots of new friends.Would we do it again,Without a shadow of a doubt.

“One and only cruise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Not a great lover of cruising but the one off trip was so worth it. The Panama Canal and its history is fascinating. I visited before the choice of dates. It was years ago.

“Such a sight to see!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013 via mobile

The canal was so amazing to see in person. We were so happy to see the engineering wonders of this world when we visited. Make sure you get a good spot in the stands to watch the ships coming in and out. The only thing that would have made this better is if we had actually been on a ship that went thru it. Truly an amazing experience! Recommend this to everyone!

“Partial transit = full satisfaction”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

We enjoyed a Panama Canal partial transit tour. This took us on a boat from the Pacific through the locks to Gamboa. We were informed throughout the ride filling us with interesting facts about the canal from it's beginning until today's current operations and the new expansion. We also enjoyed a good meal on the ride. Gustavo (Gus) with Panama VIP Services was our tour guide. We recommend this to everyone except young children as they could enjoy the ride but would not appreciate the factual information.

“Panama Canal Half Day Cruise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

I booked a half day cruise through Decameron tours of the Panama Canal and it was an amazing experience. Cruising past the Bridges of the America through the Miraflores locks and then another set of locks. It is a once in a lifetime experience to be on a boat as it rises up the locks, to be able to touch the walls of the canal. and to pass by giant cruise and cargo vessels. The tour included multilingual descriptions of the Canal's history as well as discussion of every part we passed. Furthermore the price included a nice breakfast buffet and delicious lunch. At the end of the tour you end up by the port at Gamboa where a bus takes you back to your hotel in Panama City. I have no regrets doing this trip and highly recommend the tour.
