We went once on my wife's birthday and everything was truly perfect. She had perfectly grilled salmon and I had the filet, which was perfectly cooked and juicy tender. The Mushrooms in a brown sauce and the beef carpaccio appetizers were standouts. Service was smooth and efficient and when the was a problem with our limited Spanish arose , the head waiter kept everything moving without a problem.
The place is elegant to look at...the music was a light and quiet jazz.
We enjoyed our second visit. This time we each had two appetizers...one as and appetizer and the second as "dinner".
Wine by the bottle and by the glass were fairly priced.

The first time we went to R with a couple of friends,was great. The breads r amazing,service is good. But,the second time we went there food was not as good. So never went back!

We lucked in to Rausch on a trip to Panama City. Chef, former sous chef to Raymond Blanc at Manoir aux Quatre Saisons outside of London. Five course tasting menu with wines, $52.00 !!!And it was so great, we went back the second night. Everything was superb from the cappuccino of portobello mushrooms to start, melting short ribs over puree, intense caramel sorbet. You get the idea.

not very french per se in its menu however this was a nice experience.
Cuisinr is mord like fusion/modern.
I tried the degustation menu for $58 with wine. Same menu without wine is $42.
A la carte prices are reasonable for the stanxing, $15-25 for an entree.
Restaurant is inside the hotel Esplendor.
