We happened upon this restaurant last night, having walked towards the Casco Viejo and been attracted by its appearance though we'd not read any reviews of it. Once inside we decided to stay to eat, and we're so glad we did that we're going back again tonight! The best thing in our opinion was the atmosphere; it reminded us of the way Buenos Aires might have been years ago. The chicken in smoky tomato sauce was very tasty even if the chicken did put up a bit of a fight, and the cheesecake we shared was absolutely delicious. The people working there were a perfect mixture of warmth and professionalism. When we asked if they could order a cab for us they even came out to make sure that the driver had understood where we needed to go (a small guest house near Albrook). We paid $85 for two main courses, a bottle of Malbec, a shared dessert (easily big enough for two), a beer and a sparkling water and felt it was good value for money. Credit cards are accepted.
