our waiter did not speak english and the menus were in spanish. All other restaurants have both on the menus that we visited

The service from the server was mediocre. The food came late and it was not as great as it looked in the menu. The manager came to apologyze for the server's service and almost yelled at him in front of us.
I would not go there again

You can sit and watch the guy flipping the pizza dough - not only it it cool but it also means that a fresh pizza is on the way. We loved the pizzas - fresh and great tasting - straight out of the brick oven. We had empanadas as well - the pollo ones (chicken) - they were tasty as well. Inspired we ordered dessert - took one bite of the stale tiramisu and gave up.
So - go for the pizza but if you are in the mood for dessert - go elsewhere.

Located next to Hard Rock & Raddison hotels with a contrasting great beer selection and reasonable prices. 10-place bar is cramped for space but offers the enticing view into their beer cooler with over a dozen brands of bottled beers from Europe. Notables include Gulden Draak, Augustijin, Checkvar, Guinness, Paulaner, and Baltika. Mellow music and moderate lighting make for an enjoyable setting. Gas-fired stove oven is visible to one wide. One wall of video displays shows theme scenes. 50 seats at blue 4-top tables on ground floor and booth seating along circular raised level. Very friendly and attentive staff. Menu in Spanish includes thin-crust pizza, calzones, soups (Mushroom is great), salads and cheese/dough concoctions. Everything tastes fresh. Such a relief from the cold temperature and intense sound levels nearby at the Hard Rock. Also, the beer selection is far above average for Panama City.
