I tend to look for a restaurant in a nice place. Coastway Amador has several restaurants. This restaurant fitted what I was looking for. It had local people eating there, they served sea food, and a nice view.
I had two dishes: fish carpaccio, which was very good..., and a salmon in a litchi sauce(???!!!!), mmmhhhhh!
Had extremely good service, (I've asked for extra lichi sauce, and alllthough it seemed an impossible task,)the waiter appeared with a saucer! .
. I needed a taxi to go back, and not only did they called one, the waiter kept coming and chating with me, so I wouldn't feel that I was being forgotten.
It's a restaurant for people over 35 years old. I mean, the decoration looks old, and the music is like dinning inside an elevator. If you don't mind this..., give it a try. By the way, when I left, the restaurant was packed.
