Really sad experience.
We were the only ones in the restaurant and, when we got the bill we realised why.
To be fair the food was good. Extremely expensive ( over $200 for one course with wine) but we could have coped with that if they then had not increased the cost of the wine on the bill. On the menu it was $ 50 ( plus 15 % tax plus 10% service) the bill came with $58 ++.
It was only $10 different, but this is principle!
I suggested the restaurant made it up with a complementary cognac - the boss said no
When we arrived I asked what was the house speciality and I was told lamb. It was good ( New Zealand rather than Nicaraguan) and the most expensive dish on the menu - maybe we should have been sceptical at that stage!
Make up your own mind, but I would certainly never go back and I really hope that the management take action against this sort of unscrupulous conduct, assuming, of course, that they are not encouraging it.
