“late flights”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

my flight arrives so late here is a nice stay. nothing open late here but maybe a bottle of water from the desk. Plenty of late action if you take a cab Club Diamond would be my choice for late night pollo fritos and flor de canas .Back safe at hotel then OK good breakfast and rental car on site. From here is of to the coast but if you have an early flight out another stay the night before is a great option. There is a closer hotel but doesn't feel as safe. This one seems more secure and clean. Bueno. Nicaragua is beautiful...no?

Hotel Camino Real is very close to the airport in Mangua and so to stay there is a no brainer for those with early morning flights (they provide a free shuttle). This is a pleasant hotel with a large swimming pool; those familiar with heat in Nicaragua will appreciate this fact. The staff is efficient and courteous. The restaurant is considered to be one of the better ones in Managua. However, the night we were there, there was a group of noisy Americans (probably a church group) , and so the dining experience was less than impressive.

This hotel is a oasis in Nicaragua! Minutes from the airport, the shuttles are prompt and the drivers are friendly.

There is a gorgeous pool that they keep very clean and the rooms are amazing - I slept in a king size bed that I nearly swam in. The air conditioning is a huge plus as well :)

Most importantly, their workers are very professional! I tended to tip much higher at this hotel because of how great they were.

I would highly recommend this hotel!

The only downside to this hotel is that it is outside of Managua and right by the airport. If you need to be close to the airport, than this is the best spot. The rooms are great, hot water, AC. The pool is great. The spa is amazing, great $30 massage, steam room, sauna, gym, and casino. For $100/night, its probably my favorite hotel in Managua!

Very close to the airport, free shuttle offerd and will meet you according to your flight schedule. Really good breakfast, wide offering of fruits, fresh juices, hot and cold dishes. You can change 100 usd at good rate and welcome drinks from the lobby. Ok and big rooms, flat Tv. Rooms a bit dusty in some corners, but no big deal.

Otherwise like major hotels in the area, this one is ground floor level only surrounded by gardens.
Wide corridors and spacious rooms with all facilities.
A fine open air pool in the middle with a separate shallow one for kids, both surrounded by chairs and stretchers.
A pleasant bar and a good restaurant, though getting noisy when filled with guests due reflection from the hard walls and ceiling (the acoustics being the only minor point we have on this hrestaurant).
The hotel runs a shuttle service to and from the airport and fortunately we could leave our rental car (collected at the airport) at the hotel as the rental company we used also had an office there.
Though the hotel is close to the airport there is no aviation noise.

We stayed here one night after arriving in Managua late in the afternoon. We were heading to Little Corn Island the next morning and this location was ideal to quickly make it to the airport. The hotel has a shuttle which can quickly whisk you back and forth in less than 5 minutes. The rooms are nice and have AC which makes sleeping very comfortable. The hotel also has a pool, casino, and restaurant. We had dinner here and all the food was tasty and well prepared. If you are looking for a place close to the airport than look no further.
