The place where I work always books with Hotel Oasis for many reasons. This is now the second time I have stayed there, and I always look forward to my stay. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and the same goes for the women who make up the staff. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood of San Salvador, and I feel very safe and comfortable there. The hotel itself is very cute with a mural on the outside, a lovely garden courtyard, and a homestyle dining table. There is free wi-fi access, which is very convenient. My favorite part would have to be the meals. Breakfast comes free with your stay and lunches and dinners go for $6. The meals are served family style, and the food is excellent. It is mostly typical Salvadoran dishes, like pupusas, plantains, beans, rice, tamales and chicken. They also serve excellent coffee and different kinds of fresh brewed teas in the morning. Its a great place to go on a group trip and get more of a authentic, intimate kind of stay.
