“Great place to stay, lovely staff, comfortable rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2011

It was a lovely, relaxing place to stay after travelling for over 21 hours non-stop. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - organising taxis and advising me on places to go, the room was comfortable, cosy and clean, and the whole hotel really nicely decorated - lots of character. Breakfast is included in the price - wide choice, really well cooked, and again, lovely staff.

Stayed for four nights over the weekend and had a great time. The rooms were very clean, nicely sized. The bathrooms, showers etc were very clean and new. The room had a very refrigerator and the staff were fantastic all hours of the day. I WILL stay there in the future.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice. I looked.

We spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed it. The hotel is a converted villa that is beautiful. The rooms are very nice and the staff was excellent, helping us in any way they could. I don't think we even ever had to open the door to the villa as someone was always ther to open it before we even tried. The breakfast that comes with your stay was so good. We had huevos rancheros every morning and they were so tasty. There is a great museum across from the hotel and many places to eat and shop within walking distance.

Hotel booked by travel agent. It's inexpensive, but there are major drawbacks. The building is old and the walls thin. Very difficult to get much sleep due to the constant noise from the street (traffic, loud conversations, etc.). The room A/C unit was very old and extremely loud. The room decor and amenities were very basic. There is no elevator in the building, the staff helps carry luggage upstairs. The staff is very nice and helpful.
