this is a small Uruguayan place near the Intercontinental Hotel frequented by local families and couples. There is a TV at one end so sit at the other where they play nice music and the TV does not intrude at all either visually or audibly.
Good selection of steaks, rabbit, goat, lamb and the usual Argentinean / Uruguayan BBQ type food all cooked on charcoal. I had a huge sample plate of all the above meats for $9. They called it a half portion but I couldn't eat hardly anything the next day cos I was so full. My wife had a great steak kabob for $6. Both came with a starter, soup and salad. They have good Chilean wine for $12 / bottle.
The service from one waiter was outstanding. We went back the next night and got a different waiter who was a bit shyer but still pretty good service.
The prices are much lower than similar quality places in San Salvador.
The atmosphere was simple but very enjoyable. it is an indoor place but we got a bit of an outdoor patio feeling from it.
