“one of the best in town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

If you like fusion cuisine with some locally inspired dishes this is the place. Very elegant and upmarket with a good choice of wine and a good service

“Great pick in San Salvador”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Before dining at Citron, I had never been to a restaurant where I could have ordered and been happy with any appetizer, salad, entree, or dessert. Every item on the menu sounded delicious. Luckily, we (3 persons) agreed that the menu description was translated onto the plate. The food was delicious.
The beautiful surroundings, refined service, and excellent food made for a memorable evening.
The chef was a true artist. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

“Great but could be better!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012 via mobile

This was our second visit and overall my wife and I were very happy. The atmosphere is great and the service is over the top but charming. What holds this restaurant back from getting 5 stars is the menu. We were here in January and the menu (just 8 entrees or so) is almost exactly the same. It is very heavy on seafood entrees. There was no chicken and they were out of the duck breast. There are no purely vegetarian options. I ended up getting the pasta again. It tasted great but I would have loved to have tried something new. The ice creams will have us coming back though!! There are 12 flavors each more unique than the last. We had the green mango, nancy and niespero. All three were fantastic! Highly recommended for a visit!

“Expected A lot more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

I heard a lot about this place. The atmosphere was wonderful. English menu amazing service but the food was to bland maybe it was because we came right before they closed. The drinks were great.
