“Awesome collection of Cold War Soviet aircraft”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Although close to Zhuliany airport this was not a simple place to get to by public transport. We asked at Tourist information, they sent us to the but stop and gave us a bus number - the driver indicated his bus didn't go to the museum and it was only the help of a Stuent we met who was practicing her English that we got here.

The fee to get in s tiny but the collection of aircraft is superb. Without being too Geeky Blinder/Backfire/Bear Bombers to get up to and touch is a real thrill. Some of the smaller fighter / training aircraft are kind of bunched up together making a good solo photograph difficult but thats a minor issue.

All in all an excellent collection of planes one can get right up to and touch - most certainly worth the effort to get here (Getting back - well thats another story)

“Intresting place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

It was a bit challenging to explore the museum. It is advisable to research as how to get to the place first if not taking a taxi. No museum staff speaks English...

“Fun but a bit run down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

The museum was interesting and worth the visit. However, most of the planes have not been well looked after, or the grounds either. Again, still worth the visit to see some old Soviet planes.
