“The best place for it's price, location, decor and taste of food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

You can't expect more for that price. Great food, decor and location! Truly the must to exist place in Kiev! You can enjoy the eastern european quisin here for breakfast lunch and dinner without being concern of your wallet. The decor of the place will give you a nice addition to your Ukrainian experience.

“Quaint, fast and cheap place to dine with locals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

This place looks like a self-service canteen style joint wrapped in a quaint wooden space. The food is priced for the average Ukrainian person (therefore really cheap for a Western tourist) but the quality is surprisingly good. Don't be detracted by the fast food conveyer belt approach. It's really quite satisfying and gives you a chance to eat what the locals eat (no Beluga caviar or Lex vodka at this place.)

“Puzata Khata”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Great place to try a bit of everything. Standard cold salads, bread, and warm dishes like borscht, blini, pelmeni, varenyky and my personal favorite, cyrnyky! Budget-friendly, and the traditional atmosphere and dress of the staff make it a winner. Visited Spring 2008.
