“very friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

The hotel is little old fashioned. The room was big, clean, with old fashioned furniture. Hotel has free wifi. Breakfast was simple but good enough. Cost of the hotel room for one night was relatively cheap (34 EUR).Hotel receptionist was very nice and friendly. It was not easy to get to the hotel since it is close to pedestrian zone and office address is in another building than I stayed. Hotel has very good location for exploring Beograd centre.

very poor, dirty hotel. Awful entrance, you cant understand its hotel overthere. We stay 1 night 25 october'13 in very big,but dirty room. Bathroom was broken, shower system too. Very small and dirty bath. Because its not enough, we had " breakfast " in coridor, in front of our rooms door. For these money you expect something normal for eat,but it was only tea, musli, cold milh, yellow cheese. Thats all ! And we paid 58 euro for this awful hotel ! Never come back!

The hotel really have a good location. We did all by foot. The room is incredibly huge! The decoration it's kind of old...but the the crew was perfect too! It's really worth! The breakfast it's simple, but very good.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

I visited the hotel with my boyfriend and my general impression is - very poor. We were transferred here from their other hotel we booked. The room we were transferred to has even higher price (although we weren't charged extra) and having that in mind (plus comparing to other hotels with such prices) - the shock is even bigger.

I will start with some nice words - the staff is extremely pleasant and nice. No doubt. Very young and nice people. This is the only thing that prevents you from falling into rage and leave completely disappointed. Also, if you just need bed, have deep sleep and a lot of money, then you won't find any problem with the hotel.
It's also nice that the rooms have couches, so you can have a pleasant place for activities like working on computer etc.

Negative part
1. The staff is friendly, but completely amateur. They look and act like students on first day of practical course, without any idea of what to do with guests and how the hotel should be managed. It's not even a hostel service.
The most hideous and dangerous part is hotel's security. They forget to lock the main door, there is no one after 9 PM, lot of strange people are entering the hotel, buzzing around... and you never know who is who - their friend, hotel guest, guest of people who live on higher floors... I felt uncomfortable all the time.

The hotel doesn't have its laundry and they are "in fight" with the laundry they have contract with, so you better take your own towels (if you don't want to wait all day for them) and be super-clean, because you can't expect carpet cleaning or sheet changing (even within their 3-day terms). Also, count on your own toilet paper and clean the bathroom thoroughly before using it. Cleanliness - horrible.
You also better be strong, especially for room 104, as it doesn't have working doors (main and bathroom) and you have to do a looot of pushing and sweating to lock them (only way of closing them).

Other horrendous part is the noise. Buy ear plugs!!! The rooms are not sound-proof and you can expect horrible noise 24 hours per day, from all parts - people who live there (expect parties with high-volume music, dogs barking, screaming in the hall all day and night, banging on walls, kids running), guests and staff (There is no restaurant. Tables are in hall, in front of the door. If some guest want to have breakfast at 7 or come at 3 PM, you can be sure to enjoy nice scream or fork and knife fight. The staff is loud, too. Expect enjoying Champion League/music in your room), street (the noisiest street in Belgrade).

You have breakfast included in the price, but don't expect anything special and super-fresh. The hotel doesn't have a buffet. You eat in the hall, in front of your hotel room. You have to arrange the exact time for breakfast. Complete dish/laundry "service" is made of two girls (wonderful and super-nice), who work only till 1 PM.

In addition, expect poor Internet connection.

To resume, you won't faint from shock, but this is not a real hotel. If you just need a bed, better pay 10 euros in some hostel, unless you find the tremendously big TV the only thing that makes you happy in life.

Room Tip: Whatever room you choose, bring ear plugs with you

Comments from other reviews are valid concerning the location, the room size and style. It is unfortunately true that the beds are uncomfortable, towels are awful and bathroom fixtures are in need of attention. The service and friendliness of the staff however makes up for this and they go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The hotel has a location which is hard to beat. It feels safe and surprisingly quiet. For a quick, solo trip to Belgrade, this hotel was (just) worth it but it could be a great hotel if the rooms are renovated in keeping with the style.

Very close to the centre of the city, just few minutes of pedestrian Mihailova street. The rooms are huge. We paid 50 euros for a room of 30 meters with an enormeous tv. Old fashioned. It is not the most modern place in town and even remembers a bit comunist style, for it is great for its price.
The biggest problem is the lack of confort in the bed, with a very small blanket.
Toilets are decent and breakfast is served in a table outside the room.

Room Tip: Rooms may be a bit noisy when a car pass.

the hotel location is excellent...it is 1 minute far from belgrade's most popular street Knez Mihajlova and 2 minutes to the bus station...
the hotel room is clean and nice
breakfast could have been better
hotel has to change the change the towels, they are really old and they do not have enough towels.I asked for a bath towel once, and they bring just one very small towel...and the lady replied that they are out of towels
they also have shortage on toilet papers..mostly they forgot to check the toilet papers...I requested twice, first time they bring half roll and the second time quarter roll...the lady again replied that they are out of toilet paper
anyway, I recommend this hotel and if I go there again, I would stay again
