Rembrandt Hotel is centrally located and offers very spacious and modern, comfortable large rooms - make sure you pick the business class - it is the top level room but the price is a good value over the smaller rooms. The business class offers a modern bath, street view, large airy room with many comforts - access to computer (for a small fee), movies library downstairs, a wonderful Romanian continental brunch is served that offers everything from cappucino to fresh fruit salads to cooked eggs, fresh lunchmeats, breads and fresh bakery pasteries, yogurts, cereals - an incredible buffet you will not get at other high end hotels - this is included in your reservation! The staff is wonderful - they will assist you in finding museums, addresses, assist in getting low cost travel to the airport. They are very sincere and everyone is there to assist the guests and to make sure everything is okay.

Last month I stayed in this hostel downtown Bucharest and you need to be careful in not breaking your legs or feet when walking around. All roads are unpaved and not accesible by car or public transport. It seems that they have this situation since 3 years and that the outlook is not pink what comes to solving the problem with the city hall.

The people of the Rembrandt made my stay in Bucharest a great experience. Lovely hotel with great breakfast, beautiful spacious rooms and excellent service. I will come back.

We recently stayed at the Rembrandt Hotel in Bucharest for 3 nights in June at the end of a bicycle trip in Romania. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful boutique hotel. It's chaming and the rooms are spacious, very clean, and beautiful hardwood floors. The bilingual staff is excellent, friendly, and very helpful with anything you need. The breakfast had good variety and selections. The location is great, right in the heart of the old historic city center. We could walk to everything, including most of the sightseeing attractions and museums and a subway stop is close by. There is a lot of restoration work going on in the old town to preserve old Roman ruins and artifacts, as in many old European cities. This does not interfere with the business of the hotel. There is no construction going on or noise associated with that but nearby in the Lipscani area there are temporary sidewalks made of boards to walk on near the shops and stores. I'd highly recommend the Rembrandt and hope to return there again soon.
