“I guess you have to see it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

The story behind the building is more interesting than the building. While touring, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the people of Romania that their government wasted so much money on marble and fancy light fixtures. Very bureaucratic process to enter the building, allow extra time.

“Big is big”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

I'm not an anti-museum person particularly. But the palace of parliament is just too big. It has a great history as to how it was constructed, but it's not worth spending an entire day going from room to room

“Make the time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

It was very easy to get reservations here the day before. I wouldn't wait to arrive, as they are limited. The camera fee is rather steep, and most of the rooms can be seem online, so you may want to skip taking photos, but your choice. But DO visit!!

“Must see in Bucharest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Book an English tour to see the lavish chandeliers and designs of the interior of the Parliament Palace. There is a nice view from the balcony of the Palace too. Almost 100% of the materials are from Romania, and the building was constructed by Romanians as well. Great site to visit.
