I have stayed there 2 nights in January. Easily accessible from the airport, taxis in Bucharest are cheap compared to Western Europe. Nice lobby, I had room in one of highest floors.

Window in my room could not be opened - I guess it is same in all rooms. Despite it was really freezing in Bucharest, the room was almost hot. I would prefer lower temp, however, AC only heated and window could not be opened.

In fact, AC fan made terrible noise immediately after turning on - one call to reception and technician showed up in 5 minutes - fixed in another 10 minutes.

As far as I know, despite the hotel looks very new, it is former Sofitel hotel, so it may have its age. Apart from AC and quite higher temperature in the room, everything was ok.
Carpet is thick, bed big and comfortable, elevators work quickly.

Hotel is little bit outskirts so you have to take a taxi to downtown. Conciergie will gladly call you local taxi or offer hotel taxi (more expensive, paid on hotel bill). For business trip it is really nice hotel with several meeting rooms. If I was a tourist, I would maybe consider something closer to the city - but taxis as mean of transport are ok.

very nice hotel, good service, good food. Stuff was nice, helpful, breakfast good. As far as I saw, it is 5 star hotel. As it is, I would expect some shoe cleaning towel or something similar (especially as in this time of the year, when streets are full of snow, water, ...

Just another buisnessman on a buisness trip!..
Airport Transfer cost me 83 lei
Checked into hotel, very clean, on the 8th floor. Superb view out over the park and the tram terminus.
I had my own driver to collect and return me to the Hotel and upon driving the suburbs, it is very Parisien. Past the scale Arc de Triumph and into the City.

Working in the Financial sector, the streets were clean, although busy, and the roads, as you would expect from a post eastern block country, criss crossed with tram lines and cobbles.

For food, I ate in the hotel, Very nice Lasagne, and on top of the theatre with the students, eating local snacks and drinking beer as the Thunder storms rolled over the city.
Sat in the HOtel Bar, there were one or two "working girls" plying their trade to the older suites (me, Im in shorts and a teeshirt as soon as I finish work, so I sat there, using the free wifi, drinking the local beer watching their activities.

Return to the airport was grid lock (friday afternoon) but a delayed flight gave me time to look around the duty free. I can recommend the "Vampire" red wine .. its different and has certainly gone down well with the wife :)

Hotel does what it's supposed to do (provides good accommodation), but there is really nothing impressive about it.

+ quite spacious rooms,
+ amazingly comfortable beds (I loved their softness!),
+ decent facilities in a room (desk, coffee/tea set, closet, safe)
+ bathroom with a bathtub,
+ free Internet (quite efficient although not super-fast),
+ above average breakfast,
+ 24/7 room service (quite tasty),
+ location close to the airport,
+ close to the business parks/offices,
+ efficient hotel service,
+ very polite/helpful room service
+ hotel is located in World Trade Center complex so there is also grocery store, hair dresser, pharmacy, travel agency literally next to Pullman.

- location: nothing to do around (apart from Hard Rock Cafe). It's 10min by cab to the city center. Cabs are cheap in Bucharest so if you can stay somewhere in the city center,
- front desk staff efficient but I wouldn't call them overly welcoming (and they don't smile),
- business center without any support (wanted to scan, there is a scanner but the front desk told me that they don't know how to use it - so overall couldn't scan),
- rooms are quite dark (too little/weak lights),
- hotel has been refurbished but you can still see it's quite dated (old furniture, tiny & old elevators),
- wake up call service tends to be "delayed" (sometimes they called me 30min after desired time),

P.S. Once you're in Bucharest, Bamboo club is a must. Best place ever.
P.S.S. To/From the hotel take hotel's taxi (black Mercedes): costs 65RON (ca. 15EUR) but if efficient and comfortable. To get to/from the city center ask for regular yellow taxis. They are good and will cost you 15RON (ca. 3EUR) instead of some 30-40RON for the hotel cabs.

The location of the Pullman -formerly sofitel- north of downtown is convenient since it is on the way in town when coming from the airport or on the way out when leaving for the airport. Area is a nightlife -and daylife- desert though. Staff is efficient and friendly, they offer a nice taxi/limo service at competitive price. Breakfast is above average. Rooms are ok but nothing stunning. An efficient business hotel.
