I have stayed there 2 nights in January. Easily accessible from the airport, taxis in Bucharest are cheap compared to Western Europe. Nice lobby, I had room in one of highest floors.
Window in my room could not be opened - I guess it is same in all rooms. Despite it was really freezing in Bucharest, the room was almost hot. I would prefer lower temp, however, AC only heated and window could not be opened.
In fact, AC fan made terrible noise immediately after turning on - one call to reception and technician showed up in 5 minutes - fixed in another 10 minutes.
As far as I know, despite the hotel looks very new, it is former Sofitel hotel, so it may have its age. Apart from AC and quite higher temperature in the room, everything was ok.
Carpet is thick, bed big and comfortable, elevators work quickly.
Hotel is little bit outskirts so you have to take a taxi to downtown. Conciergie will gladly call you local taxi or offer hotel taxi (more expensive, paid on hotel bill). For business trip it is really nice hotel with several meeting rooms. If I was a tourist, I would maybe consider something closer to the city - but taxis as mean of transport are ok.
