“Much better than before but still has a way to go...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

I often brought my young ones here on cold winter days just to stroll through the exhibits and view the stuffed animals, bugs and stones. It wasn't very stimulating but there wasn't much else to do around town.
Antipa was recently renovated making it a bit more modern, but the exhibits seem mainly the same. This museum still has quite a ways to go before it is at a European standard, but it's a bad weather option to keep in mind.

“Beautiful experience, especially if you have kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

renovated place, an average size museum of natural sciences, personnel very kind. Old historical building, very close to the biggest park in Bucharest (walking distance). Worth a visit.

“Excelent museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

The Antipa Museum is a value of Bucharest. Is verry modern and still clasic. Everywere is technology. The info- touches are having great informatios about dioramas. And talking about dioramas, there are looking verry realistic. The dimensions of them are quite big. There is a cave which is aprox. 25 meters long. The atmosphere in that cave is the same like in the real one. Was cold, the walls were wet, the light was low, and the stalactites and stalacmites looked verry real and some of them were real: you can't see the difference.
The gift shop is having a lot of souveniers and natural things: lava, fossils, butterflys and much more.
I really recomand to visit this museum, a must- see landmark.
