The front of the hotel is onthe main square, with the center of the old townacross the bridge just on the other side of the square. The front of the hotel is traditiona, but a modern glass builiding rises in the rear. We stayed in rooms overlooking the main square and enjoyed the view.
The hotel was great;:nice bed and roomy bathroom. Even on the square, it was quiet at night. The included breakfasts were fine.

The hotel itself was elegant and the rooms were large, but for some reason the hotel has decided to leave floors open that are currently under renos, so from 8-20:00 you can expect to hear tons of banging, drilling, etc.

That being said, the hotel is superbly located right next to the town square, close to some of the nicer restaurants and bars downtown. That being said, the hotel definitely had more of a business feel to it. Parking is exposed and is 100 HRK (~€13.6) a street over... make sure to reserve ahead of time.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, me, my wife and an other couple. We were all extremely satisfied. The hotel is the city centre with the great square Trg bana Josipa Jelacica just in front. At the square there were arrangements and markets every day. The square is the main tram spot and literally there was a tram every 30 second going in one or the other direction. Around the hotel there are numerous outdoor cafes serving all types of drinks and light food. There are a lot of excellent wines produced in Croatia, and we tasted manyof them! The hotel is clean and well managed, our rooms were spacy with comfortable beds. We could hear no noise from the busy tramline outside. We understand that the hotel is gradually been restored, and almost all rooms have had their brush up. The staff at the frontdesk spoke English and German fluently and they served you with a smile. The breakfast was excellent with great choices.

the hotel is directly located at the city's main square. the nicest going-out street with many bars and restaurants is one minute away, shopping and sightseeing is super-close as well. given this lively location, we were surprised that it wasn't at all noisy in the room. room was spacious and modern, the bed for my taste too soft, but still ok. breakfast buffet was good, though I was disappointed that much of the fruit was out of the tin what shouldn't happen in a country where you have great fresh fruit in abundance. so you certainly get value for your money though this hotel is (like most in Croatia) somewhat over-priced

Stayed with my husband at the end of August. The room was very comfortable, if a little small, but very clean, with a great bathroom with big tub and good counter space. The breakfast was quite good with very fresh options (fruit, eggs, yogurt, meats, cereal, cheeses, breads). The location was perfect. We will stay here again if we return to Zagreb.

Hotel Dubrovnik is a very nice hotel, with an excellent location. Although the room was a bit small, it was very comfortable and definitely worth the price we paid. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly.

Negatives (that were not a big deal): The towels were a bit rough and scratchy. If you are driving by car, parking is a bit difficult to find. Also internet is not included in most rooms.

Positives: Amazing location, you are able to walk anywhere from the hotel. The square and plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area. Delicious Breakfast included with stay. Hotel is very clean and affordable.
