“Great choice 10 mins from Zagreb”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

Service: Very friendly and helpful reception staff (spoke good English too).
Room: Booked a King Room, however the one we were allocated was probably the smallest of the king rooms (our friends also booked a king, same rate, etc., but their room was a lot more spacious due to different room design). Overall room was very clean with modern furnishings. Excellent A/C. Also, loved the fact you could open the window for fresh air. Cons: No iron in the room which was a bit inconvenient as we had a 5 night stay.
Bed: Mattress and pillows very comfortable.
Bathroom: Large sized modern bathroom with bath/shower and great toiletries.
Wi-Fi: Free – good signal in rooms.
Breakfast: Good but very small continental buffet selection.
Parking: Free and onsite.
Note: There was a strange smell (sewerage I think) in some parts of the hotel, however could not smell it in our room nor the dining area.
Hotel Location: In a residential area just outside and east of the city, near Maksimir Park. For our purpose, it was ideal. Also, situated alongside a main tram line and bus route, with respective stops right outside the hotel, going directly into the city centre (15 mins by tram and 10 mins by car).

Overall: Highly recommended, excellent value with convenient transport if required.

Room Tip: When considering a “King room” ask for the larger configured room (more spacious for two people).

Staff very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Parking tight, but free in an off-the-street lot a few steps from the front door. Secure and safe hotel with very clean, modern rooms. Area of the city is not near downtown, and is somewhat run-down appearing around the hotel, but hotel and restaurant are both super. Staff got us taxi in five minutes, and also ordered us a return cab from downtown. Cost was reasonable, and food in the restaurant was very good. Free breakfast each morning was very welcome with much variety.

If you looking for something away from the city, you making a right choice, however if your interest in to explore upper town and lower town this not the right choice.

Apart from the location (being away from centre) Hotel is very close to Tram station, there are quite a few super market at walking distance. Hotel has free parking area just besides. so if you have hired a car and staying here, absolute hassel free to roam around and get back to the hotel.

Room is very quite cozy, not very spacious. Decor is charming, AC was fully functional in summer which was the best part. Bathroom is decent with space but very clean.

It has free WIFI available. Breakfast is average. a choice of egg, assorted muffins & cakes, flavoured yogurt, canned fruits, cearals and juices. Fresh fruits weren't appealing.

over all its good.

We stayed here for three nights in October 2013. Its hard to find at first as its part of a restaurant and the parking is a little after through a barrier. We had free parking whilst there.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good english. The rooms were nice and the beds very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was was nice.

There are two trams routes that go past to the centre and the train station which are handy but its quite a way out of the city so once out you tend to stay out.

What spoilt our stay was the smell of sewerage which pervades all the communal parts of the hotel. We left our room window open all the time so the room was fine but downstairs and in the lift it was bad. It was quite expensive compared to other places we had stayed in Zagreb on previous trips.

Room Tip: at the back where its quieter

Newish hotel about 5km out of the central city. Rooms are above average size, clean, modern and very comfortable. There is however, an unpleasant odour that pervades the reception area and is noticeable through the hallways although it's not an issue in ones hotel room or the restaurant. Staff are welcoming and eager to assist. Trams are virtually on the doorstep and for 12 kuna, it's an easy ride into the central city and all the attractions of Zagreb. There's a restaurant/bar on the ground floor which offers good evening meals but there's also a decent supermarket nearby if you want to buy groceries. Free car parking on site. We paid 76.50 euro per night (including a good breakfast) which I thought represented very good value - recommended.

Very nice hotel for business trips. The rooms are spacious, the staff is very kind. There is a parking and a nice breakfast.

The only downside is that it is located on a busy street and it is a bit stuffy.

This hotel is best for people who have a car. I parked behind the hotel on the street for free.
The hotel is located above a steakhouse and there were odd odors in the hallway (sewage type odor)
Bus stop nearby that I used to take the bus to center city.
Nice room, new tv and had AC.
