I stayed in the hotel 6 nights, in a double room for single use. The rooms are very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and good quality towels. The only thing missing was water cattle that I am so used to staying in other Bulgarian hotels. If I wanted to have warm tea before going to sleep I had to go down to the bar, which often was already closed.
Conference facilities, especially the top floor conference room, are great. Catering was good, and staff very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is rather far away from the center, but you can easily reach it by tram or taxi. It takes 10-15 minutes to drive to the center, 1 Leva on tram (0.5 Euro) or 6 Leva taxi (3 Eur), which is totally affordable. There is almost nothing in the close vicinity of the hotel. Restaurants and bars are walking distance, approx. 15-20 minutes from the hotel.
In general, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers, but not for tourists wanting to get a night spirit of Sofia.
