St George is the oldest Byzantine church in Sofia, and probably one of the oldest in Balkans. Situated inside the alley of the presidential buiding should not be trespassed.
Once you take photos of the feather topped presidential guards, just walk along on the adjacent parking entrance inside the alley. Noone will stop you. There, surrounded by roman ruins stands the small byzantine church of St. George, known as Rotunda because of the circular shape of its nave. It is really worth visiting.
