“One of the most delicious lunches in a long time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014 via mobile

I ordered the mushroom risotto and a lettuce salad. I can honestly say the risotto was absolutely perfect, it could not have been better. The lettuce even though just lettuce was market fresh and a pleasure to eat. The drink another taste sensation, was freshly juiced pomegranate. I sincerely hope this quality is consistent. Absolutely delicious. As others have mentioned, the service was a bit slack but in my opinion the food made up for it.

“Pleasant Italian lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We were walking on the boulevard Vitosha at lunch time in February and it was cold and quite windy. We noticed this restaurant while passing in front of it and being cold and hungry we decided to give it a try without expecting too much, we were pleasantly surprised. The room of the restaurant is nice, on two floors. You reach the first floor taking a large staircase and the room up is light with a view of the boulevard if you are near the window but it was quite full so we went again downstairs where we took a table in a corner. The sitting is comfortable, there are coat stands near the tables where you can hang your coat, scarf, hats that you have to wear during the winter and which can become annoying if you have to keep them with you. The waitresses are young, not specially smiling but the one who looked after us spoke good English. The menu has a good selection of salads, pasta and pizzas, there is also a menu for the sweets but we did like other people and went to the counter and choose a dessert from the selection in a big chilled glass buffet. Before that, we had both pasta which were very good and had a real authentic taste of Italian cuisine and I think that the chef is Italian. The people at the table near us had salad wich looked good and fresh and pizza which looked also good. We had good expressos with our apple pie, which had been warmed, a nice touch. We found the bill reasonable for a very good lunch and were revived to go again in the cold of Boulevard Vitosha. We didn't like this walk that much, too many beggars and obvious pickpockets, I don't think the idea to turn this main street pedestrian was so good, it attracts shaddy characters and it looks like many shops are closing down, some of them moving to the new malls like Paradise Center or The Mall, which is a shame because Boulevard Vitosha is a very pretty place.

“Good enough food, indifferent service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

Would have eaten more at the restaurant, ie maybe a dessert or more drinks, if the waitress had come back after our main course was served and asked if we needed anything else. The food we had was fine, not outstanding but good enough

“nothing to write home about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The restaurant has two menus - a little one for the main course and a big one for desserts, obviously priding itself on the diversity. However, we came by for a pizza, and it was definitely not the best we'd had in Bulgaria. The crusts are paper-thin and the toppings are scarce and random. It actually reminds of how pizza is cooked in Italy and second-rate eateries, so at least it feels authentic.
And as for desserts - there are so many cafes around with excellent choice, that I would recommend this restaurant only if you want to get the whole package in one place for really hungry people.
