“Derelict, but fun for the local youth!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

The pyramid is basically derelict and covered in graffiti - it would not be worth a five minute detour apart from historical interest and, when we were there, the spectacle of local young men (and a few young women too) competing to run up the steeply sloping walls in one sprint - quite a feat of fitness and fun to watch for ten minutes.

“A kiosk in front of the pyramid building selling cheapest pizza slices in the city”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

I saw the pyramid on the way back from the Sky Tower visit. I found it unique and interesting. I did not have time but saw a kiosk across the pyramid selling pizza and baked sweets. I bought a pizza slice for 70lek (.50€ cent) and other sweets are the similar price. It was most satisfying moment I ate it in the park. I think you can just buy something in the kiosk and watch what the people doing at the pyramid to make you have a good outside lunch time.

“An Eyesore”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

This Communist relic of the past is an eyesore and should be demolished to make way for something more... liberating and democratic. Nevertheless, it is a good reminder of a system that didn't work and shouldn't be repeated again.

“Bad condition...but with a reason. Great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Ok, this place is in bad condition, btu with a strong reason. The municipality try to destroy the buildin, so this is the reason for ne invertments in here, but the locals are fighting with the municipality, and they are against the destruction of the building. Very nice thing, Ok, it reminds you about the communism....but this si not a bad thing. The children have to see this and to know their history.
With minimum of investments this building should became the number one attraction in the city.
You can climb until the top, but be careful whe you get down

“5 stars only for historical value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

The pyramid is one of the landmarks of Tirana. Until revently has been functional with different cultural and business activities like showrooms etv. However the truth is that it has been left in a poor state and is in serious need of renovation and work to get back in a acceptable consition. Great architecture but otherwise has nothing to offer. Easy to find as it is situated on the main boulevard.
