I organized my wedding at the La Perla Restaurant at the Tirana International Hotel. The staff was very frindly and the event manager was very helpfull. Everything worked out wonderfully and I couldn't be happier.
The hotel gave us a Suit Room and I could see myself how nice the hotel's rooms where.
At the morning we had a very tastefull breakfast served at La Perla restaurant, witch have a beautiful view on the Skanderbeg Square.
The breakfast was very good and there was a lot of choise of food.

Very professional, very good service and I will come back for sure!

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi in the lobby, in the room internet is with cable. It is a bit expensive, but you get a good international standard hotel. Ask for a room with a view on the Skanderbeg square, looks nice at the night. Breakfast was also good, but nothing fancy. Free gym at the basement. Overall a strong 4 stars.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the hotel. In fact, it was probably one of the most decent hotels I stayed in during my three week trip there and through the Balkan countries. Although the decor of the room could have used some updating, it was fairly large and the bathroom was more than adequate. I had a room facing Skenderbeg Square, and there was a nice view of the square, the city and the surrounding hills. Breakfast was good, and there was enough of a selection to satisfy most eaters. A nice plus was being able to eat breakfast on the terrace. For the most part the staff was quite nice.

Okay one must remember that Albania at present is said to be the second poorest country in all of Europe after Macedonia? So I was expecting alot less from their hotels but I was pleasantly suprised.

Firstly the Tirana has the best location in the whole of the City, located right on the corner of the huge Main Square of the city. Its amazing looking out at this as you eat your breakfast from the second floor terrace or sip you drinks.Luckily our rooms had a great view of this and I would recommend you requesting a room with a view of square.

This hotel also offers free parking with security.

Rooms about 3 star Irish standard but clean and quite modern. Bathrooms clean and plenty of hot water.

Nice bar on ground level and you can also get drinks from restaurant/bar upstairs where you can sit out on terrace and watch life go by in city centre Tirana. Check out the traffiic - I do not understand how the hell their roundabouts work but its incredible watching them!

Bed and Breakfast was €150 (2 people in the room)- we got an executive suite. Breakfast was not bad at all but was great eating it out on the terrace in the warm sun. Did not eat any dinner at restaurant. Instead we went out and ate in one of the most expensive restaurants in Tirana - got 4 starters, 4 Main courses, 3 desserts, 2 bottles Wine, 3 Cointreaus, 2 Cokes for €120. Not bad compared to Irish prices! Had lunch earlier in the day - cost us about €3.50 each in another town.

Staff at hotel very pleasant and all seemed to speak English with ease. Would definately stay here agin if I returned to Tirana.

Stayed here for one night with family in September and had a very enjoyanle stay. It is excellently located on Skanderbeg Square in the heart of Tirana. Our rooms were on the 9th floor and had excellent views across this bustling square and the city centre. We just arrived in Tirana and with little or no idea of where we were going to stay we happened to spot this place first and popped in to see if they had availability, which they did. We parked our car in a secure car park with round-the-clock security. The reception is bright, spacious and modern. Check-in was efficient and the staff friendly. We had a drink in the Lobby Bar prior to going to our rooms. The bar looked out onto Skanderbeg Square with plenty of people watching opportunities and there was free WiFi access. The bar service was efficient and friendly. In addition, the Albanian soccer team was staying in the hotel prior to their match against Sweden which certainly added to the buzzing atmosphere.
Our rooms were modern, bright and clean with all the usual accessories one finds in 4-star accommodation. The best thing about the room, however, was the view down onto Skanderbeg Square - it is fascinating to watch cars, trucks, bicycles and pedestrians navigate the square and, despite the apparent chaos, we did not witness any crashes!!!
The hotel is within walking distance of most of Tirana's major sites and sports stadiums as well as a vast array of bars, cafes and restaurants. The city centre was bustling with families out walking, older people gathered to chat with friends in the city's numerous parks and the bars and cafes were full of hip and stylish young Albanians. There was a great ambiance on the streets and we certainly felt very safe wandering around the streets and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.

We did not dine in the hotel's restaurant. However, we had cocktails in its La Pergola bar on the 2nd floor which also has wonderful views over Skanderbeg Square and, once again, the service was efficient and friendly. Breakfast also happened to be in La Pergola and it really is one of the best breakfast locations I have dined in with great views on the terrace across the square and bustling Tirana. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and tasty.

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Tirana - the hotel was also built as a showcase in 1979 and apparently hosted many Polit Bureau meetings in its time and reportedly has underground tunnels that were built to aid the escape of members of the former regime in case of attack so you get a bit of history there as well!!!
