It was a very nice surprise for me to have lunch at the "Frasheri" restaurant just on the left sight when standing on the Ottoman bridge. You have to go around and old building in order to get to the restaurant. The premises are very nicely decorated. The staff is very welcoming, while the furniture and interiour style allows you to stay comfortable and relax with your group.
The food is within the Italian-style standards, but I would like to make an exception for the pasta, which is really great. You can really feel the home-made product, which are combined with nice sauces and other tasty products. Very well cooked :)
Another very important detail of this restaurant: the price of wines are more than affordable. The explanation of the staff is that "Since we do not make our own wine, we do not see any reason to charge extremely high prices for the imported wine". That is why a normal bottle of Primitivo di Manduria 2008 14 $ had a cost of only 13 USD, while another Italian wine bottle with four kinds of grapes was more expensive: 15 USD... Mamma mia :))))
The restaurant has been operating for more than 15 years, so I feel really sorry to have discovered this place so late. Can't wait to go back there and have a nice time with friends and family. Highly suggested!!!
