L'Api'zzeria came recommended to us because of its proximity to our accommodations (Fare Suisse, see review elsewhere). They have a good selection of pizzas, reasonably priced, and a good menu of other Italian and Tahitian foods. Even though you sit indoors, it has an outdoor beer garden feeling, with gravel floors and open to the outside on either end. Lots of locals seem to dine here as many seemed to know each other, so there was no sense here of paying rip-off tourists prices. The menu is in English and French, so easy enough to figure out what you're ordering. We especially enjoyed drinking the local beer, Hinano Amber -- it was great with our pizzas. L'Api'zzeria is within walking distance of the cruise terminal -- ask for directions at the Tourist Info Center. Good food, good prices, relaxed atmosphere, nice staff. Enjoy!
