“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2011

Stayed there for 4 nights withe my wife. We were at a 5 star resort for 4 nights that the company was paying for, could not afford to stay there when we were paying so tracked down the Bedarra Inn.

Great place - cheap, food as good as it gets in Fiji. Do not eat at the cheap curry place down the road - may save $5 but you risk getting sick. Locals say it has gone down hill big time lately. We checked it out and walked away.

The bar at Bedarra is a classic out of the 70's. Happy Hour - 1/2 price is fun. Strange as a kiwi to have people smoking in doors - that was my only bad point. If they cut that out it would be great. Was not a mjor.

Overall great place to stay - four time to Fiji, first time here. WOuld come back again, as it is all you need - sun, beer, good food, fair prices - beach OK for Coral Coast. Chill and do not leave.

We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel overlooking the blue waters of the lagoon where you could swim snorkel and kayak, The hotel provides free use use of beach towels snorkels kayaks and beach shoes. The staff were always friendly and helpful and everyone greeted us with smiles and a big Figian hello. We arrived very early in the morning and they invited us to use the a day room until our room was ready. Our room was spacious and the air conditioning was just right quiet and effective. We used the restaurant for all our meals which were delicious we were only sorry that we could not try everything on the menu. I have given the hotel five stars as it represents excellent value for the money we paid.

Room Tip: top terrace overlooking the sea.

With a warm and friendly welcome that lasted to the final day this place is ideal for a relaxing holiday. It has big, clean, airy rooms, excellent food, and a quiet ambience, broken only by the soft sounds of a guitar trio in the evenings. It is in a quiet location, with beautiful ocean views. The sea is warm, shallow and amazingly clear so that one can paddle or snorkel to observe the sea life of the reef. There are organised excursions for those who want them but are not necessary for a very pleasant laid back holiday.

It's the little things that make a big difference between a good holiday or a great holiday. At Bedarra they make a great holiday an unforgettable experience. A holiday in Paradise. What more could you ask for.

Room Tip: A ground floor room would be appropriate for more mature guests as they don't have to do stairs...

Had a wonderful stay at Bedarra Inn. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are massive, clean with a heap of space.

The swimming pool wasn't really needed because the beach is just a few metres away. The snorkelling was quite good - better closer to shore than further out. Loads of very beautiful fish.

The evening entertainment was a trio of Fijian singers with absolutely beautiful voices. The cocktails at the bar were very nice. The happy hours was very popular.

The eatery just down the road has very nice pizza at reasonable prices.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have a view and are large. Much better value than the Outrigger which as can be e...

We stayed a few nights at the Bedarra while on our honeymoon in Fiji. I originally found the Bedarra through Tripadvisor. After reading the great reviews I decided to give the place a try. Everything I had read was absolutely true. Clean spacious rooms, great service and the best food we ate while in Fiji. We will definitely return.

Big clean rooms with balcony view of the beach. Food was excellent, curries a special treat. The snorkelling was excellent and the beach was racked every day. The staff make you feel like you have come home and the cocktail bar and happy hour was a great way to end a top day in Fiji. Perfect for couples as no children's programs (but they do love kids), no phone, no TV in the room. Another bonus. Spa opening in October. Something to look forward to next year. Loved it. Will be back again.
