I recently booked into a Deluxe room with my wife.We were walked up two flights of stairs by a staff member who carried our small bag and I lugged the big one.After being left in the room we wanted to freshen up and have a spa bath for which we paid.Well one towel filled the bath and it does not work.I called management and complained we were then moved to another room again the same problem one towel and no spa.We decided to go down for a drink and dinner and encountered some nut case in the bar area left and went for dinner the waitress took my wife's order but must have thought I did not want to eat so had to call her back.After dinner we went back to the room to relax as we had a big day and watch a movie two movies on but not in English ???so an early night.Went for breakfeast in the morning on the way down I noticed the dirty plates and drink bottles in the lounge area out side our door that were there the night before, we were the only two in the guests in the room and the staff were more interested in feeding their own faces.I had finally had enough and told my wife we were not staying the second night.I used my laptop to book into the Tona Hotel up the road.Went down to check out and told them I was not happy and am checking out and they could take the 20% cancellation fee but was told i will loose 100%.My advise for this hotel is get your act together and supply a bit of service also for a new hotel the cleaning standards are low.On a brighter note the one night at the Tona was superb.I should also mention that I and my wife have been coming to Fiji for the Past 17 years
