“Pisac's best kept secret.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2010

This place is so good I do not want to tell people about it, but my conscience will not allow it.
Firstly the location, tucked away behind Pisac with smell of eucalyptus and beautifully manicured lawns with fresh flowers and the mountains in the distance, the rooms are secluded cabins/chalets with en-suites.
Second the hospitality we were welcomed by Cecilia with pisco sours and a wonderful dinner with hot water bottles for the beds, we went on to eat one of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten the yogurt and cheese from the next farm and fresh fruits and warm bread.
Tell your friends but not too many I want to make sure there is room next time I visit.

We highly recommend this beautifully landscaped treasure in the heart of the sacred valley. Cecilia and her staff are some of the nicest people you may ever meet. Their attention to the guest in our opinion was excellent. We planned for only one night but stayed for three. The three nights we stayed we enjoyed the best food we had in Peru. This place may not be for everyone but if you want to get a feeling of genuine hospitality you might just love it here. Thank you Cecilia, you are as beautiful as your flowers.....Ken and Janet

My traveling companion found this charming B&B online. After arriving in Cusco, we took a taxi to Pisac. La Casa Del Conde is just a few minutes by foot from the small town square in Pisac where the vendors set up every day. Cecilia, who runs this small compound welcomes you like her own children. Her English is impeccable and she offers great advice for sightseeing, etc. There are a couple of little houses surrounded by simple, beautiful gardens. The compound overlooks a vallery of fields where we watched families farm. The rooms are very simple and rustic. There's no TV and you really feel like you've gone back in time to a simpler era. For a small extra fee, the staff will make homemade meals for you, using ingredients from their own garden ... delicious. I highly recommend this off-the-beaten-path B&B for a chance to truly get away from it all, and to get to know local Peruvians.

Casa del conde is a beautiful guesthouse in the chuanco area just west about a 10 minutre walk from the main square of pisac. The walk is along a carless trail( but if you need you can hire a mototaxi, a3 wheeler motorbike with a cab on the back) that skirts along the top of lush cornfields with amagnificent views of the mountains surrounding the valey.
Entering the gate, there are beautiful gardens surrounding a few buildings. Three are little casitas very homey with comfy beds with down duvets. One has private bath, the other two, shared. The other buildings are kitchen, common rom with a tv and tons of dvds. Little shaded lounge areas in the gardens wth amazing views.
It´s very quit and tranquil, good drinking water and a breath of fresh air.
Cecilia, the owner is very nice and accomodating and nora the cook´/housekeeper is an amazing cook that puts out an amazing breakfast spread if you like to eat a big breakfast.
I highly recommend it so check out her website at cuscovalle.com.........

We absolutely loved our stay here. We took a cab ride from the Cusco airport to Pisac. From Pisac we were accompanied by Humberto, who carried our luggage, for a short walk down a dirt path the gate that opened up into La Casa del Conde. Our hostess Cecilia greeted us with a very warm smile and a hug. She immediately took us up to our brightly colored room to make ourselves comfortable. After doing that we were served Mate de Coca tea while lounging in lounge chairs and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The stars at night are incredible!! Cecilia and her assistant Nora are both fantastic cooks. For a very nominal fee they will cook for you (there is not a restaurant, but they will make you home cooked meals). The cab driver that Cecilia uses, Nazario, is AMAZING. He is very friendly and will drive you anywhere in the sacred valley. Our entire experience at Casa del Conde was great. We will definitely go back.

Just returned from an amazing vacation in Peru and wanted to share my experience at La Casa del Conde just outside of Pisac. If you are looking for a tranquil bed and breakfast, this is the place! After a 45 minute drive from Cusco, our taxi took us to the end of the road where we transferred ourselves and our luggage to a mototaxi. It was my first time on one, and so I giggled hysterically while I bounced around for 1/2 km along the direct road. We arrived at the wooden gate not knowing what was in behind it. The door opened and there was Cecilia the hostess greeting us with open arms. The entrance is a lovely terraced walkway up to the lodge where the meals are served. I was a single and my companions were a couple. We shared a 2 bedrom cabin with a shared washroom. It was perfect.

The rooms were brightly painted (mine was blue and orange) and overlooked beautiful gardens. The view from my window was mountains...spectacular. We had a veranda with chairs and table that ran along the entire length of our cabin.

After a rest due to altitude, Cecilia and her lovely cook/housekeeper Nora cooked us up an amazing chicken soup and of course we drank coca tea for the altitude. It was delicious. Breakfast was always fresh fruits (mangoes and papayas) and even strawberries from their garden. Juices, fresh bread and preserves. We were offered eggs, but declined. For 25 sol/pp they will cook you a traditional Peruvian dish. We did this on 2 evenings as we were so tired from all the touring around during the day, we didn't feel like going out. But, if you want to, you can walk into Pisac (bring a flashlight) and eat in town.

What you will love about this place is the view..it can't be beat. Sit out on a chaise lounge in a beautiful perennial garden and listen to the birds, watch the sun go down or if you are lucky like I was, meet a few cows dropping by the creek for a drink. The owner let me take their picture.

You will also enjoy the friendliness of Cecilia and her staff. Nora is amazing and is always on the move. I still haven't figured out how she puts that hot water carafe and tea in my room every night. She is very discreet. Cecilia is always there for a hug and huge smiles. She was kind enough to hook us up with a driver (Nazario) who was excellent and loved to practice his English. Overall a great experience.

If you are looking for all the creature comforts of home, you might be a little disappointed as there is no electricity during the day. The generator is turned on for cooking and for light up until 11:00 pm. You can even watch a movie in the lodge, but bring your flashlight to navigate the stone stairways. Very beautiful, but can be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Hot water wasn't an issue if you were first, but we found that if you waited, it might be a little chilly. I believe the hot water runs off a gas heater.

Our group wasn't fussy and really enjoyed the atmosphere...I slept like a baby. If you are lucky you'll meet David a resident who is a sacro-cranial therapist and he'll give you a 60 minute treatment for $US 30 dollars. What a deal!

Make sure you take in the Pisac market on Sunday mornings...it is beautiful. Many vendors who love to barter, and the church is absolutely beautiful.

I would defintely recommend La Casa del Conde in Pisac.
