“Don't Miss This”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2014

This was the last stop on our list of churches to visit while in Lima. It's a beautiful old historic church, as most of them are, so you don't want to miss this one. Take a stroll out in the gardens and you'll see the statue of St. Rose. It's most different.

“Connected to Sittard in the Netherland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2014

Other reviews allready mention as to why one shoukd visit this place, but not many people are aware of the fact tgat St Rosa is said to have saved the city of Sittard in the Netherlands
of the black Plague. (InSittard one can find a small chapel in her honour)
Do not forget to write a wish on a piece of paper and throw into the well

“Santa Rosa”

It's a small church located a few blocks west of Plaza de Armaz. Very well maintained. One of the attractions mentioned on tourist maps

“Very well preserved building with cloister and library”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2014

I didn"t expect this boroque church and former convent to be so surprisingly beautifull. From the cloister garden you see the wood finish internal patio (top floor). Our guide said it's originall and the lack of rain makes it last long!

if you have been to a big city anywhere and do not want to see this, don't leave Lima airport and keep going to Cusco or other destinations
