“Wealthy, modern”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

San Isidro is one of the most modern districts in Lima. A business site, it is also picturesque and safe for tourists.
Many tour buses include a sightseeing ride by this district

“Posh, quiet compare to Miraflores, great district to stay when in Lima”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Posh for Lima standards, quiet compare to the popular Miraflores, lots of great hotels, golf club, country club, and security (lots of embassies).
It offers a large variety of good places to eat quality Peruvian or international food and cafes with great ambiance.
If you stay in one of the hotels in San Isidro, simply take a walk around 10 blocks or so to discover these places. If you want bars and lounges, the best is to go to Miraflores or Barranco.

“The business district”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

It is the business district of the city, since it has most of the important companies located in it. During the weekdays is very very crowded, but during weekends is possible to see attractions as important ancient ruins (huacas) located in it.
