This is a great hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet. The breakfast was great, the rooms were comfortable and the location was fab.

My friend and I stayed here on our recent trip to Lima, Peru. You cannot get better location in the city of Lima. The hotel is lovely. The service was fantastic. Can't recommend it enough!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great. It less than a two minute walk from the park along the cliff facing the ocean. Some of the rooms have an ocean view. Breakfasts were excellent. Twice we needed extra early breakfasts and were accommodated with no problem. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was eager to please. We will stay here again when in Lima.

Casa Inca Lima

Tired of the impersonal nature of the large hotel chains? This is a really good "personal touch" hotel like I imagine sea side boarding homes may have been like in the old days.WIFI.Small ,private close to Larco Mar and centre of Miraflores. You can hear the Pacific Ocean breakers at night in the room.Taxi to downtown isn't expensive - but why bother?Good restaurants and museums are around Miraflores, including good options for dining with chilfdren at Larco Mar.The Casa Inca .provides a simple but tasty breakfast .

If you intend buying Watercolour paintings in Lima, you may find that this is not a usual medium in Peru. However, the artists market at Parque Kennedy is only an occasional event-mostly weekends. We found a number of galleries with good watercolour paintings off Avenue Larco near Parque Kennedy.I am not sure of the Street but the KFC is on the corner and they are a few blocks in.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the Pacific Ocean (that is an Westerly perspective if you want the sound of breakers)

Stayed here one night with 3 friends. We stayed here for one night before we ventured off on a 10 day excursion to the jungle and Machu Picchu. The location was great - safe and very walkable. Playa del Mar is a short walk away. The front desk was accomodating. There was a bit of a language barrier, but they were alway so willing to help us.

This is a nice hotel. The decor is really interesting and well done, with lovely murals on the walls and nice furniture. The hotel is well located in Minaflores, with easy walking to the beach area which is a hive of night life, and the centre of town with all the shops, resturants and square.

We had a room which was very near reception and found that it was quite noisy so I would recommend a request for a room further away. The reception staff are very friendly and try to be helpful, although their English isn't great and unfortunately our Spanish is poor at best, so communication when BA had lost our luggage was difficult.

Breakfast is ok, although we did have what we now refer to as 'Egg-gate' when I had requested poached eggs and they'd clearly been microwaved. Once my fork went in the explosion of egg was quite impressive but a little dangerous. However, the coffee is good and fruit etc fresh and delicious.

Its a good, basic hotel with few frills but in a great location.

Room Tip: Not near reception and the kitchen - too noisy
