This is a great Hotel for business or pleasure.
The staff are amongst the most helpful and pleasant I have encountered anywhere in the world - the treat guests as one of the family.
The breakfast is fresh and tasty with reasonable variety. Kitchen staff will assist with the little extras when asked. They are always pleasant, obliging and willing to assist.
Rooms are clean and spacious and also well maintained with good quality fittings.
Hotel is quiet enough for a good sound sleep.
Public transport is available close to the Hotel and there are a variety of good restaurants within easy walking distance.
My stay at this Hotel was pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable.
I can recommend Vila Santa Miraflores to anyone who is considering visiting Lima.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in late June with Wife and 16yo daughter. Room was quite large and bathroom was clean and quite good - even had a steam room in the bathroom!!

Staff were extremely helpful. We needed to print-off Argentine reciprocity fee receipts and that was absolutely no problem. They were also very helpful with tour information, hailing cabs etc.

The hotel was on the outskirts of Miraflores so required a walk to the downtown area (otherwise overall rating would be excellent)

Had a problem on checkout when they could not process MasterCard, this seemed to be a problem elsewhere in South America so I would recommend having a backup...VISA seems to be the card of choice in South America.

Breakfast was good but if you left it too late most of the buffet would have disappeared.

Would I stay there again for the price........YES!

The hotel is very clean and front desk is super helpful. Breakfast buffet was good but you have to specifically ask for cold milk for your cereal. I had consistent hot water for the shower. A room not facing the busy street is best but if you're on the 4th floor or higher, you don't hear the traffic as much as on 3rd floor.

I don't think the hotel is in the heart of Miraflores, if anything, it's on the very outskirts of Miraflores. Rooms were clean, wi-fi was strong inside our rooms, and breakfast was much better than expected. Breakfast included eggs, oatmeal, bread, ham, cheese, cereal, and some fruit. Oh yea, there's no heat and no hair dryers - bummer!

Biggest disappointment was the airport transfer. There were 4 of us traveling. We took 2 different airlines - we were all suppose to land at the same time at 12 noon. Unfortunately, my flight was 2 hours late landing at LIM. My friends landed on time and were picked up by the driver. When my husband and I walked out with our luggage, there was nobody holding a sign with my name on it. We coundn't find my friends and couldn't find a driver with a sign. We ended up getting a taxi for 45 soles to the hotel. At the hotel, we find out that my friends are still with the driver at the airport. I think what happened is that the driver walked away from the reception/pick up area just as we were exiting. Since he made my friends wait in the car, they were no place to be seen. Long story short, just take a taxi - it's cheaper and you won't have to deal with a bad driver.

The staff at this hotel is very helpful. They took us in at 1:30 am when we had to check out of another hotel that was very substandard. The rooms are clean and they provide a heater upon request. There is a problem with hot water. They keep running out of gas and you have to call ahead to let them know you have not hot water. Very inconvenient. Also, the breakfast server could only be slower if she didn't show up at all. She did not keep up, and there were so many waiting. Although nice, these two major inconveniences really affected my rating. If they could get the breakfast and water down, I would give it a 4 star.

We stayed here our first night in Peru, and were pleasantly surprised! Hotel had a boutique feel with a great staff and clean, modern rooms. Wi-fi, bottles of water, and breakfast were all included unbeknownst to us! Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with fresh towels, lotion, soap, and shampoo/conditioner. The only down side we had was that our room was facing a busy street and therefore really noisy. So, we would definitely stay here again, but request a room off of the street!! As we were checking out to leave for the bus station we were pleased to be informed that it would be the hotels pleasure to take us to the bus station!

For those of you looking for good food close, don't miss the Italian restaurant across the street and a 200 yards up!

We'll be back!!!

My spouse and I stayed for four nights at the Vila Santa and have nothing to complain about the time spent there. Everyone from the staff was extremely helpful and provided great advice when asked about places to see, to visit and to eat. On our next visit to Lima we will definitively stay at Vila Santa.
