“Seafood a la Peruana at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

This was a discovery of the last Peruvian summer. Excellent food, high quality, perfect service and a nice, relaxed ambiente. Prices are reasonable and probably one of the best value for money places in Lima. I visited something like 15 places in 3 months, and this is the one I went back to several times.

“Delightful seafood restaurant in picturesque Miraflores, near the Ocean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

This is a bright, bustling seafood restaurant located about 3 blocks from the Pacific Ocean, near the Malecon clifftop park that is so picturesque in the Miraflores district of Lima. Tourists do not seem to have discovered it yet, partly because it is not on a thoroughfare.

The decor is simple and attractive, with a reed ceiling to make it look like a "typical" Peruvian beach shack. Service is attentive, even at the busiest time, which from our experience is as of 1:00 on Sunday, when local residents congregate there, often in family groups, for a lengthy lunch (as lunch seems to be the main meal of the day in Peru).

There is a good range of seafood dishes, highlighting Peruvian flavours and cooking prowess. Although the dessert range is limited, the ones we've tried have all been sinfully delicious.
