The Cusco Plaza 2 was the worst hotel that we have ever stayed in. I would avoid this hotel. The hotel is very noisy. We had a room towards the back of the building. Sounds safe? But no, we backed on to a lane near a club of some sort which meant that we had to endure very very loud male only conversations from about 11pm till 4am. We did not sleep much. So, we were moved closer to the front of the courtyard but, then we were kept awake by all of the comings and goings in the hotel. The rooms were also very old and run down and in need of an upgrade with very stained and old bathrooms. The towels provided were almost too small to wrap around you and they were threadbare and grey from over use. Also, the food offerings were so pathetic and so minimal that, for the first time in my life, we ate out of the hotel for b'fast. Mind you, we are not that fussy either...some fruit, cereal or toast satisfies us. We are experienced and well travelled travelers. It was in a good location...which is all it had going for it. This was the first time I had trusted a tour company (Peregrine) to organise my accommodation. Never ever again!!!!!!!!!
