“Great value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

This hotel is perfect for someone that is looking for a comfortable place to rest without spending too much. Excellent location, close to the main square in the historic center, very clean, great beds and lots of TV channels. Internet is available in all rooms for free. Good breakfast. I will stay there if I return to Cusco.

Stayed at Taypikala for a couple of nights before and after undertaking the Inca Trail Trek, and excellent place to stay and relax before the trek and to recover following the 45km trek. The staff at the hotel were excellent and it had a very relaxed atmoshphere, they had free wifi and also cocca tea was available in the reception area 24/7 free of charge. The rooms are clean and tidy and very confertable, the only slight issue you may have is with the noise in the evenings if you're sleeping in the rooms facing the main street. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice, you definately won't starve!!

This was a very nice hotel, in the lobby you are welcomed with a bowl of coca leaves for help with the altitude or attitude. The hotel is on a side street, very quiet with a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. The rooms are very nice, large and immaculate. The breakfasts are good, and the location central allowing you to explore much of Cusco on foot. It's a great city, take your time.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, next to Qoricancha, which is an important Inka legacy. It has modern rooms, with confortable bed, bathtub and cable tv. The reception is very friendly and the breakfast is good.

Great service. Clean, comfortable rooms. Very quiet. Once you're in your room, you won't hear anything. It's perfect after a day of exploring Cusco.

Also, it's an easy walk to just about anywhere from the hotel.

Great hotel about 10 min walking from Plaza de Armas. In a quiet street. Clean. Large rooms, and comfortable beds. We had a large jacuzzi in our room, which also functioned as a shower. Weird to shpwer behind a curtain with my friends on the other side of the curtain.

Breakfast ok. Nothing more, nothing less.
