Stayed at Taypikala for a couple of nights before and after undertaking the Inca Trail Trek, and excellent place to stay and relax before the trek and to recover following the 45km trek. The staff at the hotel were excellent and it had a very relaxed atmoshphere, they had free wifi and also cocca tea was available in the reception area 24/7 free of charge. The rooms are clean and tidy and very confertable, the only slight issue you may have is with the noise in the evenings if you're sleeping in the rooms facing the main street. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice, you definately won't starve!!
