Absolutely brilliant place to stay, I highly recommend it to any traveller on any type of trip. Great, friendly staff, perfect location with amazing views of classic Cusco. Beautiful terrace style building with gorgeous interior furnishings. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Great breakfast!!! I have visited 6 continents and over 30 countries, and this is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. Extremely cheap too!!! Thank you Piccola Locanda for a great time.

Although the Piccola Locanda is classed as a hostel, I would have to disagree – as I've never stayed in such a 'nice' hostel before!
Me and my partner stayed there for a total of four nights in the Luna room which has a double bed and private balcony with amazing views of Cusco.
It was located only 5 minutes walk (although be warned there are a lot of steps) from the Plaza de Armas with its abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants.
Breakfast was included, plus free internet and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

First,I'd booked few months in advance and they pushed me in some kind of cinderilla room because huge group just shown up a night befor I checked in and the hotel gave the up-stair-room for them(those are all their best). Second,when I asked for the flight from Cusco to Juliaca ( Lake Titikaka area),some nice girl who speaks English very well was rolling her eyes while I was being told that there is no flight flying there and fought me to buy her bus ticket.." This is "Peru" ok?!! Wrong.!! Lan Peru fly there every day. Anyway,breakfast is really good in their catagories. So So Specify room and do not trust their travel offer.

From the moment we entered, we felt safe and enjoyed friendly service and great rooms. This was our base for two weeks as we travelled to MachuPicchu and Sacred Valley. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentyful. Free internet. Interesting travellers with whom to share stories. Good laundry. Packed lunches for the day.
