“Wow Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

The staff at this hotel is outstanding. They anticipated our needs after a long trip. The food was excellent, especially considering the size of the hotel. great location one block from the San Pedro Market, six blocks from the main square. I would recommend this hotel and if I ever get an opportunity to return to Cusco, I will stay here.

This hotel was so, so good. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed there on two occasions. The first two nights we stayed in a superior room, which was a suite that came with a fruit basket, fresh flowers, bathrobes and slippers, not to mention a ton of room. The bathroom was huge! Upon arrival, they immediately sat us down in the open-air lobby and served us fresh, hot coca tea to help with the altitude. The tea is available for free around the clock, just help yourself! We drank a ton. There is free WiFi in the rooms and lobby. Breakfast is included with the rate, but the morning we checked out we left at 3:30am, before breakfast started at 5am, so they bagged up a breakfast for us so we could take it with us! They also let us keep our suitcase in their back room while we went on a trek for a few days.

When we came back a few days later to spend one night in a regular room before flying home, they already had our suitcase waiting in our room for us, I didn't have to bring it myself. The regular room was very small and the bathroom was basic, but the beds are comfortable and the linens fresh. They also ordered a cab for us the next morning to take us to the airport, on them.

The breakfast buffet is huge with a ton of options, even an omelette station. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is just a few blocks from the main square, Plaza de Armas. Totally walkable. A grocery store is on the same street if you need to pick up a few things.

This hotel offers outstanding customer service. The manager is always very available to the customers, and his staff are all very well trained and friendly. They will book your trips, give you advice, and provide you with a very clean, attractive room and excellent breakfast buffet.Their location is very convenient to the attractions of the city. We stayed here two different times on our trip to Peru. Both times were great, and they even remembered us the second time!

We were treated very well at the hotel, starting from the arrival when most of the group was feeling a bit off from the altitude. The staff was prompt in trying to remedy that. The rooms are well appointed. The location is very central in the city, though it is a small city and easy to navigate on foot.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with some friends at the end of a month-long holiday in South America. My expectations were not very high. Was I surprised! The staff were very friendly and helpful; they couldn't do enough for us. The rooms we had were very good, clean and comfortable. This was a great little hotel and close to various places we could walk to, including city center. The hotel doesn't have a gym or pool, but there is so much history and so much to see in Cusco that a pool wasn't even on the list when choosing a hotel. We ate in the hotel one night and the food was very tasty and cheap. Due to all our walking activity during the day, that, combined with the altitude, we fell asleep early in the evenings and slept very well on the comfortable beds. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

1. They picked us up from the Airport for Free.
2. They gave a 10 minute explanation of the city and answered every possible question we had in english
3. We stayed Monday in the standard room and it was adequate, passed out with altitude fatigue and slept great, we went to Machu Pichu Tuesday, stayed there. On Wednesday we returned and they upgraded us for free to a luxurious sweet, jacuzzi, slippers, robes, enormous bathroom, we are generally budget travelers so this was such an added bonus, so ralaxing.
4. The breakfast is a buffet that includes make to order omelottes! FREE
5. The price value eqution was favorable. Free Coca Tea at all times! FREE
6. Called cabs for us that arrived almost instantly, price 3-6 Soles for anywhere in the city, equivalent to 1.5-3 USD

Will for sure return as long as the price remains ...

These guys & gals are doing a great job in a hard environment. The staff are wonderful and went 'above and beyond' to help this particular traveller with crap Spanish. Those with superior; and those with just some English; seemed to enjoy being a part of making a success of the Hotel/Restaurant. They wanted to engage with the client - even when they were REALLY struggling with language. They appeared to be trying to have, and introduce fun. That's something you don't see too often. Management may well be doing a good job here? I had two different rooms here. One big, one small. Both comfortable and by world standards (in my opinion) about 3.5* Both rooms crisp and clean. Stay here... it's a good place.
