“Great Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

We stayed in this property before and after doing the Salkantay Trek. It's a great little hotel with a beautiful courtyard to call home while in the area. The meals at the restaurant were very good. The rooms had comfortable beds. Location was great. Can't say enough about this resource in helping plan a trip. Stayed at 5 different hotels throughout Peru and was not disappointed once.

A lovely little haven tucked away 10 minutes walk from the main plaza. We would highly recommend this courtyard hotel. The rooms were immaculate and staff very friendly. There is a café/restaurant situated within the hotel which offered a great choice of food all of which we tasted was fantastic ( including the home made cakes!)
The hotel is part of a chain which funds projects for under privileged local children and offer free daily trips. Unfortunately we were unable to attend but this did strike us as a great thing to see.

The hotel securely looked after our luggage for 4 days whilst we were touring Macchu Picchu, which was greatly appreciated.

The Hotel in Cusco is a charming property located within walking distance of the Plaza de Armes. The hotel benefits a great cause, with proceeds going to help orphaned children and children in need. The rooms were clean and spacious and they had a restaurant with great food. The service from the front desk wasn't very enthusiastic. When we asked for something like change, for example, the answer was usually no. When requesting extra towels or toilet paper, they would forget to bring them to our room, so we usually had to stand there and wait or they wouldn't get what we needed. The food at the restaurant was very good, but sometimes we waited for up to an hour to be served.

Room Tip: I would recommend choosing a room in the back of the hotel, as it was pretty noisy in the front towa...

I first found this hotel when researching a place to stay prior to and after the 4 day Inca Trail Trek which originates in Cusco. I liked what I read and then contacted my tour operator, United Mice, for a recommendation and they also recommended Ninos Hotel. My room (with shared bathroom/shower facilities) was only $24/night and I felt guilty....this place is AMAZING!!!! I walked through a small door on a street where cars are not allowed and saw a beautiful courtyard with flowing fountain, accommodating people who met every need and answered every question. The two different rooms I had there (because I stayed before the trek and after), were quaint, clean and the beds so soft with plenty of blankets it was hard to get up in the morning! Their little "cafe" had unbelievably delicious, organic foods with a cozy fire every morning and evening with soft relaxing music. Travelers I met were from all over the globe and provided interesting conversation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: The only issue is due to the fact that the rooms all face the immense and comfortable courtyard, peo...

Stayed here the night we got back from Machu Picchu. I was a really nice room. Very clean and quite inexpensive. It was also quite a large room. There were only two of us but the room could sleep four. My only issue is that at one point it got very chilly in the room. At some point someone presumably turned the heat on somehow and it became pleasantly warm again.

Lovely little hotel stunning courtyard. We stayed in ninos number 2. In the rosa room in our first stay lovely clean rooms very bright and airy but very very cold at night and no heater. We came back to this hotel after a trip away and stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. Lovely room and thankfully a heater which unfortunately didn't work. But lovely staff lovely food. Highly recommend the pumpkin soup. And we loved the free wifi.

My family of 4 (boy 15 and girl 11) recently stayed at Niños as part of one of our greatest vacations so far. The experience at niños was very pleasant. The location is great! you could walk to the main attractions in town. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We had a quadruplet room with a private bathroom. It was plenty spacious for the 4 of us. As you can see in the photo it is set on a colonial house. So the rooms surround an internal patio. You have to try their breakfast and don't miss their home made yogurt!
My daughter got sick ( not from them ) while we stayed there and the staff could not have been nicer! they went out of their way to help us. So she recoup! and we were ready for the next part of our trip Machupichu!
I found Niños to be a very special place. The owner has a foundation that helps over 500 kids in Cuzco. So while you are having a great time you are helping with a great cause!
