Hands down this is my favorite hotel that I have stayed at anywhere in the world. The service was impeccable, the food amazing and the rooms clean, comfortable and luxurious. Myself and my 2 children ages 11 and 13 arrived here late, tired and dirty and almost 2 weeks of traveling through Peru. We had started our morning at Machu Picchu at 4:30 am and were just hoping we a comfortable bed. From the moment we walked through the doors of the Palacio Del Inka I could tell we were in for much more than that. From the Bellman up the staff saw to our every need. They provided us with tea, arranged a dinner time for us, brought a 110v charging station to room and just took care of every detail. Waiting in the room when we arrived was a birthday cake for me, although it was one day past me birthday. The special treat was that it was a gluten free cake like I require to eat some myself and not just give it to my kids. This was the third hotel to provide me with a cake, but the ONLY one to notice and care that I needed a gluten free cake. Such a nice surprise.

The rooms were dark and quite for sleeping in late, the beds were extremely comfortable, and hotel just beautiful. Part of the wall of the reception and bar area is from a historic Inka building. The service in the dining room was just amazing and the food Michelin quality. This was true for both dinner and the breakfast buffet. Two weeks after we got home my kids were still talking about the breakfast buffet here.

There is a lovely outdoor courtyard for sitting in a sunny area, wine and cheese tasting in the evening and well stocked mini-bar in the room. My only disappointment was that we had only chosen to spend one night here. The following day we walked the city easily from our hotel as it is in a good central location, close to everything. If I had it to do over I would spend several night here. We really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was lovely. The room was comfortable (even though there was no air conditioning), quiet, large bathroom. The food was outstanding, beginning with breakfast and right through dinner. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the location is quite good.

We stayed in decent hotels in Peru, but this hotel was by far our favorite! We loved the mix of modern luxury and Peruvian history. The hotel is beautiful, the service amazing, and the food stellar. The daily breakfast can be had over looking a beautiful courtyard, and the bar offers a pisco sour tutorial. The beds are amazing and they provide daily complimentary water bottles. We also really liked being walking distance to so much of Cusco. I'd highly recommend staying here when in Cusco!

My husband and I spent two evenings at this hotel in Cusco and had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely friendly- whenever I walked up to the desk, they greeted me personally by name! They were also attentive and had timely service for breakfast and at the bar. The rooms were beautiful with mini patios off of them overlooking some of the historical sites in Cusco. The hotel is roughly a 5-7 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, which made it very peaceful and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle from the city center. They helped us arrange travel to and from Ollantaytambo and the airport. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would come back!

This property is called a luxury collection. Quite appropriate. The facade is made of genuine Inca stone. Spread all throughout are religious murals of saints, angels, kings and queens; sometimes you think you are in a museum. Antique fixtures. Mini patios with fountains. Even a defibrillator in the lobby! The rooms aren't anything less; old world design. Walk-in closet. En-suite with separate sofa, desk, flat wall TV. Crabtree & Evelyn amenities. Just around the vicinity are churches, restaurants, shops. Satisfying breakfast. Free wi-fi. Professional staff. Perhaps, the only downside: the street beside the hotel is too narrow for tourist buses. You have to make your way to the main avenue (about a minute walk) for going and about a 2 minute walk coming from the back alley. I would dare say this is the best place to stay in Cusco.

It's a nice hotel in the old historic centre of Cusco. Unfortunately, we were sick during the stay and the hot/stuffy room made it extremely uncomfortable.

- Hotel - had a lot of character - the wall was part of the original Inka, right next door to some Inka ruins. At night time, it's nice to see the hill with dotted lights just like Christmas lights
- Location - very convenient and in the nice, old historic centre of Cusco
- Concierge - very friendly and helpful
- Room - got upgraded to a junior suite very nice & spacious. The room was a bit warm due to lack of air-conditioning & not able to open the windows as the traffic noise from the cobblestone road below was horrendous. We were sick during our stay and requested an electric fan for some air circulation but were told by the hotel operator that the hotel did not have any. Only when checking out we were told that the hotel did have electric fans and could have sent one to the room. Apparently not many hotels in Cusco had air-con because of the cold climate
- Tea /coffee facility in the lobby - was very similar to other Starwood hotels. However, cups at this hotel were very small, no milk to go with English tea & water often not hot enough

Overall it was a nice hotel but few things need improvement.
